    I spent 18 years of my career in Arboriculture. From grounds person dragging brush, to climber, to foreman to tree business owner and finally to working at the ISA headquarters.
    I know the tree care industry well. and I love trees and tree people.

  • Tree service ownership

    I started my contracting journey when I left a position as a foreman and lead climber to start contract climbing in Portland, Oregon. Then I moved to Bend, Oregon and started my tree business serving Central Oregon Homeowners.
    We doubled in size every year until I decided to shut it down to take a job with International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), in Atlanta, Georgia.

  • Business coach

    I always loved business and people. Don’t get me wrong, I love trees too. But while some arborists read books about trees, I tended to reach for books about business, sales, customer experience and psychology.
    I was born to be a coach. In 2021 I took a job as a business coach and I’ve never looked back.

    I’ve coached business owners in 30+ different industries, in 7 countries on 5 continents.

    And I LOVE coaching tree service owners. You’re my people.
